Larry Purifoy, age 64, of Gurdon, died on Monday, July 30, 2007 at Arkansas Hospice at St. Joseph s Mercy Care Center in Hot Springs. He was born on April 20, 1943 in Nevada County, the son of the late Lewis and Grace Gullick Purifoy. Larry was a self employed logger and a member of Whelen Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one sister, Della Lamkin, three brothers, Alvin, Aaron and Bob Purifoy and one grandchild, Morgan Purifoy. Larry is survived by his wife Ann Boyett Purifoy, one daughter, Tammy Humphries of Jacksonville, one son, Timmy Purifoy of Arkadelphia, three sisters, Sally Walker of Gurdon, Cora Lampkin of Bossier City, LA and Sharon McNeil of Traskwood, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the family s home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children s Hospital, 800 Marshall Street, Little Rock, AR 72202-3591.
