Larry Wayne McElhannon, age 64, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Tuesday May 17, 2022, at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on July 21, 1957, in Westfield, MA the son of Royce and Betty Payne McElhannon. Larry served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a roofer and carpenter by trade. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Payne McElhannon.

Larry is survived by his wife, Margaret Crossno McElhannon of Gurdon, two sons, Daniel McElhannon and his wife Becky, and Matt McElhannon and his wife Amanda all of Bismarck, one brother, William McElhannon of Minnesota, and three grandchildren, Katie, Kacey, and Myles.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday July 15, 2022, at Welch Funeral Home.
