Kelly Ray Whisenhunt age 45 of Hope passed from this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope. He was born June 4, 1968 in Pine Bluff , the son of James Alfred and Glenda Mae Ray Sorrells. Kelly was a farm manager for Sitzes Farms and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother. Kelly is survived by his wife Tasha Thrasher Whisenhunt, one son, Dustin Blankenship of Minnesota, his father and step mother, James and Patsy Sorrells of Dalark, one brother, Kevin Whisenhunt of Arkadelphia, his grandmother, Dorothy "Nana" Nilz of Gurdon, mother in law, Nikki (Robert) Schee of Whelen Springs, father in law, Jimmy (Joyce) Thrasher of Gurdon, brother's in law, Jonathan (Tiffany) Schee of Bismarck, James Schee of Hawaii, Paul (Traci) Schee of Arkadelphia, Eddie (Diona) Davis of Arkadelphia, and Jeremy (Jessica) Davis of Arkadelphia, sister in laws, Wendy (Rick) Suit of Bismarck and Mitzi (Jeremy) Bolt of Arkadelphia, and a host of nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Lloyd Baumgardner and Bro. Donnie Deaton officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery at Gurdon. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral Home. Pallbearers are Byron Dixon, Ronnie Snyder, Rick Suit, Daniel Schee, John Sitzes, Crockett Schee, Jonathan Schee and Paul Schee. Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Schee, Trent Nolen, Lester Sitzes, Keith Ross and Dan Hughes. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church c/o Lloyd Baumgardner 105 Stevenson Rd Gurdon, AR 71743.
