Karla Renee Freitas, age 45, of Glendale, AZ, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, March 11, 2021, in Arkadelphia.  She was born December 9, 1975, in Hot Springs, the daughter of the late Carvel and Laverne Runyan Jester.  Karla was a 1994 graduate of Arkadelphia High School.  She was a caregiver at WeWorks in Phoenix.  Karla was a member of Souls Harbor Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Phoenix, AZ.  She enjoyed singing, collecting antiques, being outdoors and being with her family.  Karla was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Trellis Jester, and her first husband, Tim Riley.

Survivors are her husband, Dalbert Freitas of Glendale, AZ, two sons, Jeffery Riley of Glendale, AZ, and Travis Freitas (Amanda) of Texas, one sister, Carolyn Pavelzik of St. Largo, FL, two grandchildren, Everleigh and Evander Freitas both of Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2021, at The Pentecostal Church of Arkadelphia with Pastor Bill O'Connell and Pastor Kenneth Wesson officiating.
