Judith M. (Judy) Stephenson, age 62, of Tracy, CA, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Modesto, CA. She was born July 13, 1947, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late W.M. White & Lois (Fleming) White Davis. Judy graduated from Henderson State University with a bachelor s degree in nursing and remained a dedicated professional for thirty two years. Above all else she was very devoted to her family and friends, very loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Judy is survived by two sons, Shawn Stephenson of Pittsburgh, CA and Scott Stephenson of of Tracy, CA, three grandchildren, Dene, Seth & Danica, one sister, Patricia Ann Fite of Sparkman. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia with Bro. Gary Harvey officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ronnie Stephenson, Chris Stephenson, Shane Stephenson, Mark White, David Fite & Rusty Rogers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
