Juanita Alexander Morgan, age 86, of Arkadelphia, died on Sunday January 28, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on November 27, 1920 in Malvern. Juanita was the 1939 Miss Arkansas and first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Morgan. She is survived by one daughter, Camiel Kannard of Hot Springs Village, one son, John Morgan of Arkadelphia and three grandchildren, David Kannard and Jacob & Ethan Morgan. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at First United Methodist Church with Daniel Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia. No visitation will be held.
