Joyce Carolyn Moore, age 64, of Whelen Springs, passed from this life on Thursday, December 25, 2008, at Twin Rivers Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born August 27, 1944, in Hot Springs. Joyce was a Baptist and a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband Bob Moore and two sons, Robert & Eric Strawn.

Survivors are five grandchildren, Shallia Strawn of Greenbrier, Tracy Sparks of Whelen Springs, Burgandy Malcom of Gurdon, Robert Strawn Jr. & Eric Strawn of Hot Springs and one brother, Frank Sutherland of Hot Springs.

Graveside services are 2:00 PM Monday at Bauxite Cemetery with Bro. Maurice Dickey officiating. Visitation is from 12 noon to 1:00 PM Monday at Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.

Pallbearers are Brandon Malcom, John Sparks, Terry Cooper, Justin Myers, David Harrison Robert Strawn, Jr. and Jimmy Cooper.
