Joshua Allen Dyess, age 28, of Hot Springs, passed from this life on Monday, October 21, 2013 at his home. He was born on February 22, 1985 in Hot Springs, the son of Steve and Vicky Walton Dyess. Joshua was a carpenter and a member of Saginaw Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bruce Dyess, Martha Lloyd and R T Walton. Joshua is survived by his father, Steve Dyess, of Bismarck, his mother and step-father, Vicky and Mike Scott of Okolona, his sister, Jennifer (Leslie) Smithpeters of Okolona, step-sister Mikayla Scott of Hot Springs grandparents, Bob & Jean Cansler of Bismarck, step-grandmother, Barbara Scott of Arkadelphia and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Caney Cemetery, with Bro. Alan Cansler officiating. There will be no visitation.
