Josephine Ellen (Liles) Easley, age 80, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born March 2, 1930, in San Bernardino, CA, the daughter of the late Oscar Bailey & Clara Louise Hall Liles. Ellen was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Austin Easley, her daughter Karen Easley, two brothers Donald Richard Liles and John Edward Liles. Ellen is survived by two sons, Ralph Austin Easley of Gurdon and Wayne Austin Easley of Nashville, three daughters, Sherry Phoenix of Alexander, Linda Susan Lamb of Dallas, TX and Ida Lucinda Robins of Beirne, one brother, David Liles of Grants Pass, OR, three sisters, Patricia Ann Cunningham and Barbara Jones both of San Bernardino, CA and Nancy Cunningham of Portland, OR, fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2010 at Welch Funeral Home with Rev. Terry LeMay officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday. Interment will be in Easley Cemetery at Gurdon. Memorials to the Arkansas State Police Teddy Bear Drive #1 State Police Dr Little Rock, AR 72209.
