Joseph Burke Faherty, age 84, of Okolona, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born January 8, 1925, in Kansas City, KS, the son of the late Joseph Anthony & Carrie Wright Faherty. Joe was a retired process engineer in the oil refinery business and a member of St. Mary s Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Lee Faherty.

Joe is survived by his wife, Margaret Faherty, one daughter, Regina Ann Hurd of Montgomery, TX, two sons, Stephen Edward Faherty of Houston, TX and Kevin Patrick Faherty of Lakewood, NJ, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 6, 2009 at Dobeyville Cemetery at Okolona with Father Linus Ukomadu and Deacon Bud Daven officiating.
