Jose B. Trevino, age 82, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on December 11, 1927 in Texas. Jose was a member of the Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josepha Hernandez Trevino, his daughter, Oralia Trevino, and grandson, Enrique Trevino. Jose is survived by three daughters, Sylvia Gonzales, Maria Ortiz and Josepha Trevino, two sons, Francisco Zamora and Fibiensio Zamora, twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 3, 2010 at Welch Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Francisco Zamora, Fibiensio Zamora, Carlos Zamora, Oscar Gutierez, Gary Rozell and Elmer Linares.
