John Bartol Wilson, age 82, of Arkadelphia died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Twin Rivers Health & Rehab in Arkadelphia. John was born August 14, 1923 in Smyrna, Arkansas, the son of the late Joe Harold and Grace Francis Wilson. He was a heavy equipment operator and a Baptist. John is survived by one brother, Roy Wilson and his wife, Christine of Arkadelphia, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Newsom officiating. Interment will be in Golden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Golden Cemetery Fund, 6580 Highway 8 West, Arkadelphia, AR 71923. Services are entrusted to Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
