John Cody Thompson, age 41, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, March 10, 2022, near Arkadelphia.  He was born November 7, 1980, in Arkadelphia, the son of Donald Mack and Debra Jean Whitehead Thompson.  Cody was a 1999 graduate of Arkadelphia High School.  He worked in the farming Industry.  Cody attended Third Street Baptist Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.

Cody is survived by his parents, Donald Mack and Debra Thompson of Arkadelphia, one son, Dillon Staal of Gonzales, LA, one brother, Chad Thompson (Felicia) of Arkadelphia, one sister, Michelle Abernathy (Brian) of Mt. Ida, and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services are being planned.
