John Raymon Rogers, age 38 of Gurdon, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 .  He was born on July 12, 1980 in Arkadelphia, the son of Skip and Jamie Karen McAnally Rogers.  John attended Evergreen Church in Gurdon and enjoyed baseball, The Chicago Cubs, hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with his son.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

John is survived by his son, Landon James Rogers of Gurdon, his parents, Skip & Karen Rogers of Gurdon, his sister, Jennifer (Jeremy) Taylor of Gurdon, two brothers, Brian (Kari) Rogers of Bentonville and Kyle (Amanda) Rogers of Gurdon, five nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Beech Street Baptist Church in Gurdon.

Interment will be in Harts Chapel Cemetery .

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Pallbearers will be Josh Tucker, Kevin Key, Jimmy Don Thomas, Joey Pennington, JD Hammonds and Jason McDonald.
