John Edward Bufkin, Jr., age 53, of Arkadelphia, AR, went to be with our Father on March 3, 2005, at his home. John was born November 14, 1951, in Sour Lake, TX, the son of John Edward & Mary Ann Jackson Bufkin. He is survived by his mother, Ann Fitts & his father, John E. Bufkin, Sr., his brother Rick and sister Pam. He leaves behind his wife, Mary & their 5 children, Carl, Jennifer, John Lowell, Savanah & Melanie. John was a member of Third Street Baptist Church. He was a loving and kind man with a big heart. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Third Street Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
