Joe Charles Clements, age 77, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs.  He was born September 14, 1942 in Clark County, the son of the late Jacob and Susie Marie Jones Clements.  Joe was a retired Truck Driver.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia.  Joe enjoyed dominos, cards, yard work and camping in his free time.   He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Cordelia Smith Clements, one son, Charles Edward Clements, three brothers, Raymond, Lester and Albert Clements, two sisters, Loraine Francis and Dorothy Ogle.

Joe is survived by two children, David Joe Clements (Sandy) of Moore, OK, and Phyllis Suzanne Clements of Caddo Valley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, February 24, 2020 at First Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia  with Bro Nathan Rogers officiating.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Welch Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Coker Cemetery.
