JoAllen "Abby" (Deaton) Johnson, age 75, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at her home.  She was born November 26, 1945, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Homer and Gladys Holder Deaton.  Abby was a former school teacher, worked for Easter Seals of Arkansas and former managing director for Twin City Beverage of Little Rock.  She enjoyed shopping, gardening, decorating, sewing and cooking in her free time.  Abby was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are one son, John Lett, Jr. (Catherine) of Alexander, two daughters, Dana Binz (Steve) of Little Rock and Julie Crook of Ocala, FL, three brothers, Ronnie Deaton of California, Gary Deaton of Hot Springs and Greg Deaton of Arkadelphia, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Welch Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date.
