Jimmy Leon Rogers, age 71, of Bismarck , passed from this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home.  He was born September 12, 1946 in Hollywood , CA , the son of the late Charles Rufus and Francis Murphy Rogers.  Jimmy graduated from Bell Gardens California High School in 1964.  He was a retired SCAT bus driver.  Jimmy attended First Baptist Church of Bismarck.  He enjoyed car racing, mechanic work, auto repair and watching old movies in his free time.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lela Hursey, and one grandson, Austin Lee Rogers.

He is survived bi his wife, Emma Lee Speaks Rogers of the home, two sons, Clifford Rogers of Bismarck, and Steven Rogers and his wife Virginia of Bismarck, five grandchildren, Lacy Richard of Iowa, Andrew Richard and his wife Abby of Ohio, Amber Rogers and her husband Cody of Arkadelphia, Ashleigh and Alexis Rogers of Bismarck.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Bismarck with Rev. Evan Smith officiating.
