Jimmie Junior Grigsby, age 97, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Garland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hot Springs .  He was born December 7, 1919 in Malvern, the son of the late James Monroe and Lillie Estes Grigsby.  Jimmie was a retired supervisor at Reynolds Metal Company.  He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.  Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline McGrew Grigsby, one son, James Randall Grigsby, one sister, Elizabeth Grigsby, and two brothers, Harold and Clayton (Whid) Grigsby.

Survivors are two grandchildren, Shay Grigsby Olson of Black River , NY and Stephen Elza Grigsby of Hot Springs , five great grandchildren, Sarah, Seth and Cameron Olson, Aidan and Anna Grigsby, one sister, Lola Bess Fisher of Hot Springs , one special niece, Janet Collum of Hot Springs , and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ronnie Hardin officiating.  No visitation is planned.

Pallbearers are Stephen and Aidan Grigsby, Jimmy, Jess and Bruce Collum and Louis Austin.

Honorary pallbearers are Brookfield Memory Care.

Memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice.
