Jessie Verda Seale, age 79, of Sparkman, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at her home. She was born on May 12, 1927 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Jesse and Verda Cole James. Jessie was a member of First Baptist Church of Sparkman and was formerly an LPN with Riverwood Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Hoelzer. Jessie is survived by her husband, Cloyce Seale of Sparkman, three daughters, Verda Sue Goins & her husband C.B. of Little Rock. Brenda Garrett & her husband Allen of Sparkman, and Glenda Bordelon of Sparkman. One son, Irwin Seale & his wife Lloydine of Sparkman. One sister Elizabeth Schwartz of Tuscan, AZ. Two brothers, Fred James and Walter James both of Longview, WA. Eight grandchildren, Gary Jackson Jr., Justin, Jathan & Joshua Seale, Jessica & Sam Garrett & Scottie & C.J. Bordelon. Five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Sparkman with Bros. Eric Moffett & Donnie Sherril officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery by Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 Pm until service time at First Baptist Church sanctuary.
