Jerry Wayne Scott, age 74, of Norman, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs. He was born on January 6, 1942 in Fort Smith , the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude Walston Scott. Jerry was a 1961 graduate of Glenwood High School and worked as a carpenter and general contractor. He was a Christian and a member of Alamo Baptist Church in Norman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashley Marie Scott, and brothers, Darrell and Dewitt Scott.

Jerry is survived by his wife of fifty-four and one-half years, Mary Horn Scott of Norman, two sons, Jerry D. Scott (Shelley) of Caddo Gap and Terry W. Scott (Letha) of Norman, grandchildren, Steven and Kristina Scott of Glenwood, Helen Wright of Norman, Amber and Keith Epperson of Daisy, Jennifer and Josh Bates of Glenwood, Robert and Ashley L. Scott of Norman, Jeffrey Scott of Caddo Gap and Vanessa Hamilton of Bonnerdale, great grandchildren, Madison Wright of Norman, Bryson Scott of Norman, Jason Graves of Glenwood, Dyllon Wright of Norman, Addison Scott of Glenwood, Jacob Gillmore of Norman, Logan Graves of Glenwood, Bella Gillmore of Norman, Emma Scott of Glenwood, Ryatt Epperson of Daisy and Alivia Scott of Norman.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Hilltop Full Gospel Church in Glenwood.
