Jerry Leon Hillman, age 71, of Chidester went to be with the lord on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Life Care Hospice in El Dorado. He was born on October 25, 1949 in Fordyce the son of the late James J. and Bobbie Meeks Hillman. Jerry attended Henderson State University and was a butcher at Gurdon and Murfreesboro for several years. He was a member of Reeder Baptist Church. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Harry J. Hillman, Carlton Hillman and William Hillman and three sisters, Mozelle Slaughter, Bobbie Joe Mason and Janie Brown.

Survivors include his sons, Max B. Hillman and wife Brittany of Chidester, Brad Hillman and wife Summer of Gulf Shores AL, five grandchildren, five sisters, Margie Aslin of Bedford TX, Ruby Hile of Ft. Smith, Patsy Cunningham of Ft Smith, Louise Pierce of Arkadelphia and Barbara Gill of Greeneville TN and a special friend Kay Jones of Gurdon.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday July 5, 2021 at Stony Point Cemetery near Fordyce. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the Cemetery.
