James "Jim" Edwin Eddy, Jr., age 67, of Heber Springs, formerly of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at White County Medical Center in Searcy.  He was born May 20, 1954, in Baltimore, MD, the son of James Edwin and Kathleen Sentz Eddy, Sr.  Jim worked for International Paper Co. paper mill and Bobby Bunn Construction Co. during his career.  He was a Baptist.  Jim enjoyed NASCAR, football and deer hunting in his free time.  He was preceded in death by his father, his wife, Joyce Lynn Baer Eddy and one brother, Jeff Eddy.

Jim is survived by his mother, Kathleen Eddy of Quitman, one son, James Eddy (Stephanie) of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Jessica Lynn Eddy of Gurdon, one brother, Mark Eddy of Heber Springs, one sister, Dolly May (Johnny) of Heber Springs, three grandchildren, Caleb and Carson Eddy and Laken Bowman.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 10, 2021, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rick Mays officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Welch Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Carson Eddy, Caleb Eddy, Johnny May, Troy Frazier, Mark Eddy, Bill Frazier and Bobby Cambell.
