Horace Malcom Plum, age 87, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.  He was born June 9, 1930 in Doddridge , AR the son of the late Clifton James and Era Camp Plum.  Horace was retired from the maintenance dept at Henderson State University .  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Plum and one sister, Doris Tidwell.

Horace is survived by his wife of fifty two years, Jan Kolean Plum of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Johannah Cox (Brian) of Bismarck, two grandchildren, Nikki and Andrew Cox both of Bismarck, special cousin, Jim Camp of Shreveport, two nieces, Gwen McAllister of Little Rock and Michelle Harris of Friendship.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Williams and Bro. Martin Jones officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.

Honorary Pallbearers are past HSU maintenance workers and Andy's breakfast crew employees and customers.
