Harold Dean Kokotis, age 67, of Arkadelphia, formerly of Valdosta, GA., passed from this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Golden living Center in Arkadelphia. Harold was born October 27, 1940, in Valdosta , GA., the son of the late Gustovus & Mary Louise Wright Kokotis, who were the previous owners of the Rainbow Court Inn on Hwy. 41. He was a decorated United States Army veteran and served tours in Vietnam & Korea. Harold was preceded in death by his twin brother Billy Gene Kokotis on Sept. 1, 2006. Harold is survived by two nieces, Billie Jean (Kokotis) Fender and her husband Gerald, Brenda (Kokotis) Young both of Nashville, GA..; two nephews Michael Fender of Nashville & Mark & Nicole Fender of Yuma, AZ.; Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, Mrs. & Mrs. Raymond Sutton, Mrs. Jewel McCloud, Therman Sutton, Sara Catherine Blanton, Morris Wright and Lucille Sutton all of Valdosta. Memorial services were held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 25, 2008, at Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia, Bro. David Smith officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta, GA.
