Gracie Lee Smith, age 85, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Baptist Medical Center in Arakdelphia. She was born in Mccalister, Oklahoma on July 3, 1923. Gracie was a CNA at Pine Manor Nursing Home in Gurdon and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis O. Smith, two sons, Louis Laverne Smith, Jr. and Lee Smith, grandson James Bonner, two infant great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.

Gracie is survived by one daughter, Donna Tedder of Arkadelphia, three sons, Dean Smith of Arkadelphia, Don Smith of Fort Worth, TX, Darrell Smith of Russellville, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Delamar Cemetery at Manning with Rev. Mel Vail officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at Welch Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Gracie s grandsons and great grandsons.
