Gerald Carlie McKinnon Jr. age 68, of Delight, known to his friends and family as "Jerry" passed peacefully in his sleep on Monday July 22, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1956, in Prescott, the son of Gerald and Shirley Lamb McKinnon Sr. "Jerry" attended Murfressboro High School. He enjoyed tinkering and spending time with family and friends. "Jerry" is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Carlie McKinnon Sr.

Survivors are his mother, Shirley Lamb McKinnon of Delight, four sons, Michael McKinnon (April) of Delight, Bradley McKinnon (Casey) of Nashville, Corey McKinnon (Katrina) of Norman, OK, KC McKinnon of Delight, one sister, Karen McKinnon-Teeter (Sheldon) of Murfressboro, sixteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. "Jerry" was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
