Frank Raymond Baker, age 83 , of Bismarck, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs. He was born July 14, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Chester and Hallie West Baker. Frank was retired from the United States Air Force. He served in the United States Army and was a law enforcement officer with Henderson State University for fourteen years. Frank enjoyed leatherwork and cooking in his free time. He was a member and a Deacon of the Bismarck Pentecostal Church. Frank is Survived by his wife, Ruth Stinnett Baker of the home, one son, Charlie (Sherry) Baker of Mena, AR, three daughters, Shryl Baker of Bismarck, Donna (Keith) Boone of Glenmora, LA and Teresa (Paul) Mooney of Cabot, one brother, Chester (Pat) Baker of Florida, one sister, Delores Stutts of Tuscan, AZ, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Bismarck Pentecostal Church with Rev. Van Glidewell and Rev. Seth Glidewell officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in the Old Bismarck Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be Dub Holt, Dean Richerson, Mike Green, Marty Jingle, Darrin Lambert, Danny Crow, Corey Whitley and Brendan Lollerstedt. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Mark Jansen, Jerry Clampit, Bill Dixon, Carl Harrell, Morris Tabor, Sam Hassen and Archie Pardue.
