Frances Joyce Griffin, age 75, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Saline Memorial Hospice Unit in Bryant. She was born June 20, 1940 in Gurdon, the daughter of the late Jasper Milton and Hazel Alma Barfield Osborn. Frances was a retired hairdresser. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Griffin and one son Gillie Griffin. Frances is survived by two sons, Thomas Cloud (Debbey) Griffin of Memphis, TN and Shane (Karen) Griffin of Fountain Lake, daughter in law, Sally Essarey of Hot Springs, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, one brother, David Osborn of Gurdon, three sisters, Marcelle Highsmith of Hot Springs, Sherri Flowers of Arkadelphia and Vicki Garrett of Benton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Welch Funeral Home with Jimmy Flowers officiating. Final arrangements are entrusted to The Welch Funeral home of Arkadelphia.
