Floy Dell (McCaskill) Pierce passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2014.She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, her husband and two sons. She is survived by one sister, Merlene Young of Sparkman, AR, her six surviving children: Letizia and David Bowen of Hot Springs, AR, Jerry Canale and Zeng Wei Xiu of Hot Springs, AR, Carmela Canale of Indianapolis, IN, Dino and Sandra Canale of Gentry, AR, Bobbie Jo Carson and fiancé Robert Watson of Joshua, TX, James and Angela Pierce of Maumelle, AR, her beloved dog Peso, ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Floy loved helping family, friends and neighbors. She was a friend and mother to everyone, greeting them with a smile, kind words and a good meal. She adored children and cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She faced her cancer like she faced all of life's obstacles - with faith and courage and has now gone to her heavenly home. She was and will continue to be a huge part of our lives. We will miss her dearly but we will never forget her.

The celebration of her life will be at Welch Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Mark Adams officiating and burial at Atchley Cemetery in Dalark, AR.

Visitation will be at Welch Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday.

The pallbearers will be Paul Caver, Tim Dickey, Ben Dickey, Fred Young, Herman Jones Jr. and Terry Millard.
