Eva Marie Marks of Stratford, Oklahoma was born July 2, 1924 in Whelen Springs, Arkansas to James Robert Windham and Luda Luna (Wingfield) Windham.  She passed away on June 22, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 97 years 11 months and 20 days.  She grew up in Whelen Springs and Gurdon, Arkansas, where she graduated high school.  She worked as a Rosie the Riveter in Rhode Island and married her husband Raymond James Marks after the war.  They traveled all over the world while he worked in the oil fields.  She loved her family, cooking and traveling.  After working in school where she received her medical certificate and started the Women's Auxiliary of East Texas Medical Center where she served as the first President.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceded by her parents, her husband Raymond, 3 daughters, Luna Marie Reed, Mary Janet Williiams, and Francis Ellen Brewton.  5 grandchildren Chuck & Laura Reed, Ren'e Wemple, Raymond Brewton and Jason Williams.

Survived by 2 sons, Bob Marks & wife Linda and Jim Marks of Stratford.  9 grandchildren, Michelle Holland & husband, Jon Brandon Williams & wife Kim, Venus Malone & husband Matt, Kelly Moreau & husband Ron, Evan Brewton & wife Carol, Angela Fitch & husband Jason, Bert Marks & wife Christy, Jeff Marks, and Cassie Alexander & husband Jason.  Several great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation:  Sunday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM June 26, 2022 in DeArman Funeral Home, Stratford, OK.

Services:  11:00 AM Monday June 27, 2022 in the United Methodist Church, Stratford, Oklahoma.  Officiating:  Rev. Charles Baughman & assisted by Royce Williams.

Interment:  10:00 AM Wednesday June 29, 2022 in Bethel Springs Cemetery, Gurdon, Arkansas by Welch Funeral Home, Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
