Estil Wade Jones, age 86, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Friday, August 1, 2008 at St. Joseph s Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. He was born on July 8, 1922 in Edwardsville, KS, the son of the late William Franklin and Hattie Mae Craighead Jones. Estil retired from the United States Army after twenty-one years of service. He then served seventeen and one-half years with Civil Service. Estil was preceded in death his first wife, Gladys, second wife, Eva Lena and by eight brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Caldwell Jones of Bismarck, five daughters, Sharon Sue Lloyd, Sandra Gail Vale and husband Charles, Carol Sue Pratt and husband Bill, and Karen Marie Wilhite, all of Hot Springs and Sherry Lee Glaze and husband Billy of Malvern, three sons, Steven Wade Jones and wife Pam, Jeffrey Lynn Jones and wife Carolyn, and Michael Anthony Jones and wife Jana, all of Hot Springs, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2008 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. James Herrin and Bro Glen Breshears officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
