Ermaline Ruel Nichols, age 96, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Twin Rivers Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born July 23, 1913, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Charles & Margaret Buva Ruel. Ermaline was a devoted homemaker, an office manager for fifteen years for Dr. Evans in Detroit, MI and a member of New Life Church in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Nichols and one daughter Mary Ann Nichols. Ermaline is survived by one son & daughter in law Thomas Claude & Wanda Nichols of Plymouth, MI; one granddaughter, Victoria Wasden of Arkadelphia. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2009, at New Life Church with Rev. Martin Jones and Steve Willingham officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at New Life Church from 12 Noon until service time. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens by Welch Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jim Wilhelm, Preston Jones, Jeremy Jones, Keith Runyan, Larry Rivas and Ronnie Barham. Honorary pallbearer will be Jack Digby. Memorials may be made to New Life Church P.O.
