Edwin Lee Bryant, age 71, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on May 20, 1944 in Imo, the son of the late Earl Edwin and Lola Robertson Bryant. Edwin was a plywood manager at International Paper where he worked for forty-five years. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Edwin was also a carpenter and mechanic and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Bryant and his sister, Genene Woods.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Ada Ruth (Craft-Fawcett) Bryant of Gurdon, one daughter, Christina Weems (Mark) of Arkadelphia, two sons, Joseph Bryant (Amanda) of Gurdon and Greg Bryant (Terre) of Jefferson, one sister, Thelma Malone of Visalia, CA, five brothers, Doyle Clutts of San Francisco, CA, Jimmy Dale, Andy and Charles Bryant, all of Visalia, CA and Walter David Bryant of Kansas City, MO, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchldren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Nathan Rogers officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
