Donna Jean Vargas Rucker, age 68, of Sparkman, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born on February 12, 1947 in California, the daughter of Donald and Bobbie Jean Mason Vargas. Donna was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She worked at Wal Mart and Ouachita Baptist University and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dave Mason and her sister, Deborah Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Carol Rucker, her children, Mark Rucker, Tracy and Sharon Rucker, Teresa and Robert Franks, Johnny Alan Rucker and Todd and Traci Rucker, her stepmother, Joyce Vargas, thirteen grandchildren, Colt Rucker, Ashley Williams, J P McCollett, Amanda Watson, Corey Clayton, Clark Rucker, Trevor Rucker, Reed Rucker, McKenzie Rucker, Tyler Rucker, Dakota Rucker, Rob Franks and Trey Rucker and six great grandchildren. Donna is also survived by her siblings, Vicki Alcorn, Becky Vargas, Tammy Whittington, Kenneth Mason, Jason McCready and Mark Hoyt.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Holeman Cemetery with Kevin Moss officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
