Donald Dean Copeland, age 71, of Amity, passed from this life on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at St. Joseph s Mercy Health Care Center in Hot Springs. He was born on August 13, 1936 in Bonnerdale, the son of the late Curtis Andrew and Ruthy Fendley Copeland. Don was a plant worker and of the Church of Christ faith. He is survived by one daughter, Linda Records of Arlington, TX, two sons, Donnie and Tracy Gould of Daisy, one brother, Curtis Copeland of Arkadelphia, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Sweet Home Cemetery in Amity with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Tommy Waldrum, Jackie Davis, Jerry Davis, John Anderson, Ray Reynolds and Phillip McGrew.
