Dolores Anne Harrington, age 73 of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, May 2, 2011 at her home. She was born on April 27, 1938 in Allen, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Arthur and Oma May Hughes. Dolores was the lifestyle editor for the Arkadelphia Daily Siftings for many years and an avid bird watcher. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the Library Club and a volunteer for the Humane Society of Clark County. Dolores is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Donald Harrington, one brother, Randall Hughes of Bowling Green, KY and three sisters, Mona May and Brenda Vanderpool both of Lexington, KY and Dawn Hicks of Wabash, IN. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Mt Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Hargett officiating.
