Debra Fay McGee, age 61 of Chidester passed from this life on August 27, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on February 6, 1958 in Gurdon the daughter of the late H. B. Smith Sr. and Charlene Smith. Debra held many jobs during her life including heavy equipment operator, roofer and handyperson. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, woodworking and decorating. Debra was a member of the New Caney Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Connie Uchtman, and two brothers, David Mclelland and Bobby Mclelland.

Debra is survived by her son, Eric McGee of Chidester, two brothers Brodie Smith (Johnna) of Arkadelphia and Johnny Smith of Gurdon, two sisters, Joyce Bledsoe (JR) of Degray community and Charlotte Johnson of Gurdon,  and several nieces and  nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday September 8, 2019 at Southfork Cemetery in Gurdon.
