David Weir Pennington, age 56, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at St. Josephs Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. He was born October 17, 1951, in Daisy, Arkansas, the son of the late App Weir & Myrtle Hill Pennington. David was a roofer by trade and owned D s roofing in Arkadelphia. He was a Baptist and preceded in death by four sisters. David is survived by his wife, Janet Bonner Pennington of the home, one son Cody Pellett of Arkadelphia, four daughters, Terra Pennington of Arkadelphia, Angela Jones of Florida, Kayla Hughes & Joy Grace both of Texas. One sister Barbara James of Murfreesboro and three grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Saturday at Welch Funeral Home with Adam Godwin officiating.
