David Clifford Gibson, age 64, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Courtyard Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center .  He was born December 24, 1953 in Arkansas City , KS , the son of William Thomas and Mary Pauline Bean Jr.  David worked in the maintenence dept. of Georgia Pacific and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.  He was a member of Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church .  David was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, Delbert Gibson, and his wife, Tina May Gibson.

Survivors are his father, William T. Gibson Jr. of Gurdon, his children, Justin Gibson (Stephanie) of San Antonio, TX, Shad Taylor (Mandy) of Edmond, OK, Charlie Crouse (Jessica) of Arkadelphia and Bobbie Jean Bright (Sean) of Arkadelphia, four brothers, Douglas Gibson, Donald Gibson and Dennis Gibson all of Gurdon, and Roy Gibson of Arkadelphia, two sisters, Alice Badeaux and Patricia Jester both of Gurdon, four grandchildren, Ethan, Noah and Charleigh Mae Crouse, and Zoey Grace.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hardin officiating.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Sycamore.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM Thursday until service time at Welch Funeral Home.
