Danny Houston Trammel, age 64, of Friendship, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the John L. McClellan Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock. He was born February 8, 1949, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late Don and Floriece Shepherd Trammel. Danny was a retired welder and mechanic for International Paper Company and a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one sister, Flo Etta Trammel Keeling. Survivors are one brother, Kenny Wayne Trammel of Caddo Valley, three sisters, Angela Coppedge and Donna Mauldin both of Arkadelphia, and Gail Brown of Tecumseh, MI., two grandchildren, Hannah and Jacob, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Gilchrist Cemetery at Friendship. There will be no visitation.
