Clara Kathleen Copeland, age 72, of Arkadelphia, died on Friday, February 23, 2007 at St. Josephs Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. She was born on January 30, 1935 in Murfreesboro, the daughter of the late Oather and Vera Lue Cotton Jackson. Clara was a homemaker and a member of Third Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four brothers, J.B., Vernon, Paul and Joe Jackson, one sister, Shirley Long, and one grandchild, Carisa Lynn Ennis. Clara is survived by her husband, Bobby Copeland of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Debbie Ennis and her husband, Greg, of Russellville, one son, Ricky Copeland and his wife, Joetta of Arkadelphia, one grandson, Cameron Copeland of Arkadelphia, three brothers, David and Jerry Jackson of Murfreesboro and Aaron Jackson of Delight, and two sisters, Georgia Tolleson of Nashville and Martha Kersey of Kirby. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Charles Hargett officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery near Billstown. Family hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
