Christopher Paul Thornton, age 46, of Okolona, passed from this life on Sunday, December 14, 2014 near Okolona. Chris was born October 9, 1968 in Pamona, CA the son of Paul and Reba Ezell Thornton. He was employed by Georgia Pacific of Gurdon. Chris was a member of Dobyville Hunting Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing, He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Purifoy. Chris is survived by his wife, Robyn Shaw Thornton, one son, Alex Thornton of Arkadelphia, one step daughter, Jessica and Phillip Draper of Sherwood, one step grandchild, Fenix Draper, His father and step-mother Paul and Jackie Thornton of Bismarck, one brother Chad Thornton of El Dorado, two nephews, Grant Thornton of Arkadelphia and Blake Thornton of El Dorado, one step sister, Marla Looper of Bismarck, two step brothers, Dean Scott of Arkadelphia and Jeffery Scott of Venus, TX. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Third Street Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating.
