Charlie "Snuffy" Garrett, age 69, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock .  He was born January 16, 1949 in Poteau , OK the son of the late Woodfin and Jewel Evans Garrett. Charlie was a Wal-Mart associate for over twenty-five years.  He was a member of Third Street Baptist Church where he loved serving the Lord. Charlie was the "Life of The Party" and he never met a stranger.  One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and friends on holidays and beach vacations.   Charlie loved road trips with his motorcycle friends and he had a genuine love for life. He was preceded in death by his parents,  and one brother, Jerry Morse.

Survivors are his beloved wife and best friend, Cathy Harper Garrett of Arkadelphia, daughters, Jennifer Jones (Jason) of Springdale, Jessica Shearin (Jimmy) of Gurdon, Peytyn Daniel (Tyler) of Arkadelphia, Lori Pritchard (Carl) of Arkadelphia, Kristi Watson (James) of Missouri, and Sheri Wood (Bo) of Bartlett, TN, grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Jones, Lily Cuellar, Austin and Clayton Pritchard, Jordyn and Lauren Cook, Katelyn and Ryan Watson, Hayden, Tessa, and Tynlee Wood, one brother, David Garrett, and two sisters, Jacqueline Alsup and Amy Catlett, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Third Street Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Lathem officiating.

Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Third Street Baptist Church .

Pallbearers are Phil Shuffield, Paul Bryant, Bob Clark, Louie Story, Darren Moore, J.R. Phelps, Joe Motley and Randy Weeks.
