Cedric Lane Price, age 67, of Antoine passed from this life on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born on February 20, 1941, the son of the late Charlie Dewey and Effie Berry Price. Cedric was a self-employed poultry farmer and a member of Antoine Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Cathrine Price, Inez (Sister) Cornish, Janette (Poodle) Stevens, Barbara (Bab) Jackson, Charlene (Peaches) Jackson, and Margaret (Marge) Orr Pennington and five brothers, Danny, Clyde (Mutt), Calvin (Bro), Charles (Sonny) and Cleylon (Tom) Price. Cedric is survived by his wife, Wilma Gilbert Price, one daughter Julie Lynn Long and her husband, Johnny, of Antoine, one son Kevin Ray Price of Antoine, one sister, Doris (Betty) Brown of Leesville, LA, one brother, Clint Price and his wife, Tonzie, of Hot Springs, three grandchildren, Kayla Long, Christain Long and Kevin Cedric (K C) Price, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends at their home on Monday, March 24, 2008. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
