Carolyn Jane Quinney, age 77, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.  She was born December 22, 1943, in Bowen, AR, the daughter of the late Rufus Frank and Mary Evy Stark Stone.  Carolyn was a graduate of Delight High School.  She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Gurdon.  Carolyn enjoyed crocheting, quilting and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Clark Quinney, one daughter, Deretha Quinney, and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors are one daughter, Crickett Quinney of Alexander, two sisters, Billie Lockeby and Minda Sue May both of Delight.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Gurdon. First Baptist Church would like all who attend to please wear a mask due to the increase of Covid-19 cases in Arkansas.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Delight Cemetery with Bro. Randall Murphy officiating.
