Carl Lathen Prichard Sr., age 69, of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Monday, December 12, 2016 at his home.  He was born November 17, 1947 in Grass Valley , CA the son of the late Carlouis and Ida Pearl Van Meter Prichard.  Carl was a retired Law Enforcement officer and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.  He was a United States Army veteran.  Carl was a member of Twin Rivers Church of The Nazarene in Caddo Valley .  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Prichard.

Carl is survived by his wife, Michelle Bidlake Prichard of Arkadelphia, two sons, Carl (Lori) Prichard Jr. of Arkadelphia and Johnathen (Emily) Prichard of Dayton, NV, three daughters, Thea (John) McCarthy of Lafayette, LA, Rochelle Prichard of Arkadelphia and Teresa (Todd) Gavin of Bauxite, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Bro. Mel Vail officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Welch Funeral home in Arkadelphia.
