Carl Francis Bakle, age 81, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, March 26, 2021, at his home.  He was born January 20, 1940, in Defiance, OH, the son of the late Vaughn and Ottillia Johanns Bakle.  Carl was a retired electrician with Chrysler Corporation.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.  Carl enjoyed his grandkids, being in the outdoors, working in his tomato garden, feeding the animals and keeping up with the Tampa Bay Rays in his free time.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Doris Mae Bakle, two brothers, Daniel and David Bakle.

Survivors are one daughter, Lori Ann Beair (Rick) of Van Wert, OH, two sons, Jeffrey Andrew Bakle (Christina) of Arkadelphia and Curtis James Bakle (Sofia) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, six grandchildren, four sisters, Cathy Frank of Dayton, OH, Rita Diaz of Paulding, OH, Margaret Romoser of Kissimmee, FL and Julia Shock of Dayton, OH, seven brothers, Walter, Gerry, Lee and Glen Bakle all of Paulding, OH, John Bakle of Haines City, FL, Vincent Bakle of Kissimmee, FL and Larry Bakle of Maumee, OH.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Samy Madhichettyirud officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 1:45 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Rosary service will begin at 1:45 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Van Wert, OH.
