Bruce Melvin Jenkins, age 54, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on November 22, 1958 in Charlottesville, VA, the son of Jimmy and Thelma Webb Jenkins. Bruce was a truck driver for K. W. Jester Logging and served three years in the United States Marines. He attended the Pentecostal church. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Altha Jean Sanders Jenkins of Arkadelphia, two sons, Chris (Candias) Diehl of Magazine and Jody (Beth) Diehl of Gurdon, three daughters, Jennifer Jenkins of Gurdon, Constance (Mourad) Sadoune of Little Rock and Tasha Lee of Arkadelphia, his father, Jimmy Jenkins of Detroit, MI, one brother, Paul McClure of Prescott, four sisters, Deena Lewis and Jamie Driver of Prescott, Betty McMinn of Cullman, AL, and Barbara Jenkins Henry of Charlottesville, VA and fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home, with Donald Rascoe and Randy Smith officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Shane Diehl, Brandon Sanders, Robbie Smith, Josh Lewis, Mourad Sadoune and Robbie Fulton.
