Doyle Bruce Haynie, age 63, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock .  He was born on November 11, 1953 in Camden , the son of the late Doyle Bass and Ruby Jean Chellette Haynie.    Bruce was a member of Caddo Valley Baptist Church and a retired plumber.  He enjoyed hunting.  In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Dale Haynie.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Deborah Dianne Loy Haynie of Gurdon, two daughters and their spouses, Jennifer and Scott Hawthorn of Arkadelphia and Melia and Jimmy Burnside of Curtis, his brother, Kenneth Haynie of Arkadelphia, five grandchildren,  Kathryn Hawthorn of Arkadelphia, Makayla, Sarah and Jacob Burnside of Curtis and Braxton Bailey of Caney and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Douglas White officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.  Following the service, the family will gather at the home of Scott and Jennifer Hawthorn at 164 Hawthorn Lane in Arkadelphia.
